She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Meloy and Eleanor Agatha Stahl (Peter); her husband Kenneth Henry Obert; her son-in-law Douglas Ruff; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte Gilliland, Grace, Samuel, James Gilliland and Vivian Mrugacz.
She is survived by: her children, Diane J. Ruff of Columbia, MO and Kenneth L. Obert (Janice K.) of Quincy, IL.; her grandchildren, Jamie Gilliland (Ryan) of California, MO, Jeri Ruff of Columbia, MO, Kenneth R. Obert (Barbara) of Springfield, IL, Andrea Shelton (Travis) of Edwardsville, IL. and Amy Mrugacz (Adam) of Edwardsville, IL.; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Maggie, Quincy Gilliland, Kaylee, Eleanor, Gabrielle Obert, Kathryn, Madelyn, Andrew Shelton, Michael and Mia Mrugacz; her siblings, Virginia Brinkman, Meloy Stahl (Theresa), Joan Cannady, Kathleen Dietrich and Florence Dreyer (Norbert); and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Obert (Delores) and Anna Mae Liggett.
Memorials are suggested to St. Dominic Grade School or Quincy Notre Dame.
