He was predeceased by: his parents, Finley Lewis and Thelma Hickman Lewis; and his brothers, Finley "Shorty" Lewis, Jr. and John Anthony Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Clarice Bell; his siblings, Virginia Dade of LaGrange, MO, Janette Coleman of Little Elm, TX, Donald Lewis of Quincy, Alfred Lewis (Suzette) of Quincy and Charles Lewis of LaGrange, MO; his daughter Skenikwa Clay of Hannibal, MO; and his close friend Arthur "Poke" Clay of Quincy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
