She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewell Garrett and Sarah Tomlinson Garrett; her sons, Chuck Markert and Michael Markert; and her siblings, Edith Hammond, Betty Garrett, Violet Garrett and Ed Garrett.
She is survived by: her close friend Don Smith of Quincy; her daughter Pamela Markert of Quincy; her grandchildren, Jesse, Rebecca, Andrea and Debra; her son Sam Markert (Lesa) of Camp Point; her grandsons, Craig and Lance; her daughter Janet Markert of Quincy; her grandchildren, Michelle, Debbie and Dustin; her daughter Teresa Linville (Frank) of Cross Lanes; her granddaughters, Katie, Hannah and Bethany; her daughter-in-law Julie Markert of Quincy; her grandchildren-in-law, Ryan and Patrick; and her brother Jerry Garrett (Nancy).
