With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ray E. Hiland of Quincy, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hiland and Betty Ann Hiland (Lohmeyer); his grandson Jon Hiland; his brother Larry Joe Hiland; his stepsister Marsha Lewis; and his brother-in-law Ron Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hiland of Quincy, IL; his son Jeffrey L. Hiland (Pam) of Quincy; his granddaughters, Brandy Kerin and Stephanie Hiland; his stepgranddaughter Amy Jackson (George); his stepchildren, Brad Bronestine (Brenda) of Williamstown, MO, Kimberly Morley (Alan) of Quincy and Lori Green (Douglas) of Monticello, MO; his great grandchildren, Autumn Kerin, Trevor Kerin, Cadence Flynn, Jaxen Flynn, Chelsea Hiland and Lexie Hiland; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Norah Jackson, Gia Jackson and Serena Jackson; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Farr (Kate), Adam Farr (Kendell), LarRayna Boden (Brandon), Derek Green (Jess), Megan Green, Ashley Houston, Skyler Bronestine and Christina Daniel (John); his brothers, Earl Jackson Hiland, Roger Gille and Alan Gille; his stepbrother Jerry Gille; his sisters, Sharon K. Howerton and Cheryl Sprinkle; his sister-in-law Debbie Meyer; and his former wife Lexie Keigwin. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
