He is survived by: his wife Wilma Cox of Quincy; his children, Donald Maples (Peggy) of Edmond, OK and Shirley Eckhoff (Chuck) of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, Megan Ebbert (Daniel) of Edmond, OK, Christopher Maples (Amanda) of Edmond, OK, Joshua Whitley (Kathy) of Roscoe, IL, Jason Whitley (Theresa) of St. Louis, MO and Kirstin Orr (Nate) of Quincy, IL; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Ebbert, Riley, Cooper Maples, Silas, Faye Whitley, Kale and Kruz Eckhoff.
The family suggests memorial be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, La Grange, MO or charity of the Donor's choice.
