He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Cole and Vera Cole (Morgan); his wife Marilyn Y. Williamson; and his siblings, William Cole and Vera Schwener.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Bringer (Rodney) of Quincy, IL, Richard A. Cole (Sandy) of Tolono, IL and Marla Smith of Normal, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
