With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Thompson of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Tony Thompson of Quincy, Tim Thompson (Therese) of Bloomington, IL, Terry Thompson (Robin) of Sioux Falls, SD, Lynn Johnson of Quincy, Todd Thompson (Dawna) of Ridge Spring, SC and Wanita Thompson of Bloomington, IL; and his grandchildren, Anthony Thompson (Jenny), Danielle Thompson, Shana Thompson, Dustin Thompson, Casey Huffington, Shelby Thompson, Zac Thompson and Alex Thompson. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
