Richard Vance Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Richard Vance of Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas W. Vance and Helen Irene Kaufman Vance; his son Cameron Lee Vance; and his siblings, James Vance and Marsha Vance-Hutmacher.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Rouse; his daughters, Amy Vance of Crystal Lake, IL and Jamie Elizabeth Vance of Prosper, TX; his stepdaughter Cara Strashnov (Michael) of Union City, NJ; his grandchildren, Garrett Israel (Elizabeth), Morgan Israel (Michael), Devon Vance, Meghan Grom (Larry), Carter Giles and Christopher Israel (Holly); his stepgrandchildren, Mischa and Max Strashnov; his great grandchildren, Emmi Lou, Cohen Israel, Lexi, Elliott, Leo Grom, Violet, Zara and Lyla Israel; and his brother Dr. Thomas Vance of Quincy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
