He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Brueggeman and Mildred Brueggeman (Schreacke); his daughter Melissa Brueggeman; and his siblings, Jerry Brueggeman and Janet Peters.

He is survived by : his wife Stephanie Ballard; and his children, Christopher Brueggeman (Sabrina Wollweber) of Forsyth, MO and Michelle Brueggeman of Chicago, IL..
