He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dodd and Nellie Ann Beach. He is survived by: his children, Michael Cole Orrill (Megan) of Quincy Illinois, Nicholas Orrill (LeAnna) of Payson, Illinois, Kathrine Freeman (Derek) of Quincy and Samantha Orrill of Quincy, Illinois; his grandchildren, Dalton, Jeffrey, Adalyn, Chole, Daisy, Elliott Orrill and Zoey Freeman; and his brothers, Richard Dodd (Cathy) of Perry Missouri and George Dodd (Becky) of LaBelle, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
