Robert E. Scronce Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert E. Scronce of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lyle and Bonnie Roseann Scarber Sronce; and his siblings, Merrill, George Philip Scronce, Rita Slaughter and Jane Robinson.
He is survived by: his adoptive son John Riney (Courtney Hodge) of Bacliff, TX; his grandson Evan Robert Riney; his sister Judy Lovel (Don) of Herrin, IL; and his niece Sandy Hoglan (Ed) of Plainview, TX. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
