He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hesse and Martha Hesse (Reinebach); and his sister Wanda Van Arnam (Donald). He is survived by: his sibling's children, Sally Van Arnam (Tom Nolet) of Woodland Hills, CA, Beth Widmark (Cliff) of Long Beach, CA and Gary Van Arnam (Layla) of Newport Beach, CA.; and his cousins, Jim, Peggy Hesse of Mendon, Jerry, Bill Hesse of Quincy, Paul and Donna Cramer of Payson.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Lutheran Church (900 S 17th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
