He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwin Dailing Sr. and Lucille Dailing Coleman (McKinstry); his stepfather Robert Coleman; and his brothers, Richard, Floyd "Sonny", Charles Jr. "Eddie", Tommie and Donnie.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Brinkman (Mark Clifton) of Quincy, IL and Randy Dailing (Carol) of St. Louis, MO; his stepdaughter Dawn Masterson (Steve); his grandchildren, Paige Wellman (Blake), Austin Brinkman (Krissy), Taylor Dailing and Megan Dailing; and his great grandchildren, Ava and Westley Brinkman.
