He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Earl" Spillman and Verda Ann Lang (Lanear); his wife Sue Fuhrman; his sister Lucille Schuette (Gene); his daughter Penny Lynn Johnson; his grandsons, Robert Roy Johnson and Marty Joe Johnson; and his brother-in-law Earl Weitnauer.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Earl Spillman of Fenton, MO, David Spillman of Quincy, IL, Peggy O'Donnell (John) of Wylie, TX, Patty Spillman of Ursa, IL and Earl Spillman (Dawn) of La Grange, MO; his former wife Leota Cleesen; his stepsons, Chad Fuhrman of Quincy and Lloyd Furhman of Hannibal; and his sister Mary Weitnauer. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
