He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Vargas and Aurora Vargas (Esquivel); and his son Jaime. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Mays (Pat); his children, Robin, Serena, Jamie, Katina and Robert L.; his grandchildren, Kenny, Jessica, Lucas, Dylan, Dan, Robbert and Kennedy; and his siblings, Joe, Luis, Sesario, Maggie Pauline, Betsy, Irene, Olga (Cookie), Vicky, Janie, Linda and Mary Martinez. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
