It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Altgilbers of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard John and Elizabeth "Joan" Wear Altgilbers; and his brothers, Kevin and R. J. Altgilbers. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Slater; his children, Misty Johnson (Andy) of Durham, MO, Chad Altgilbers (Heather) of Quincy, Shawn Altgilbers of Quincy and Nicole Daly (Craig) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Colby Altgilbers (Alecia), Jack Secrest, Colleen Mock, Caleb Altgilbers (Hayley), Laney Altgilbers, Collin Altgilbers, Emma Altgilbers, Karsyn Gronewold and Noah Daly; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Luci and Jensen Altgilbers; and his brother Rocky Altgilbers (Tracey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
