He was predeceased by: his parent Aldon Byars; his sister Sharon Stanbridge; and his brother-in-law Ronald W. Stanbridge. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Burns Byars of Quincy; his daughter Melissa Byars of Quincy; his grandsons, Justin of Quincy and Brandon Hanlin of Quincy; his great grandchildren, Easton Hanlin and Taylyn Seckman; his sister Sandy Michel (Randy) of La Belle, MO; and his friend George Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
