He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Snider and Dolores D. Schanz Snider; his wife Darlene Ellis; his son Randy Snider; his brother William Snider; and his niece Becky Stanbridge.

He is survived by: his children, R. Kent Snider (Linda) of Quincy, Roger Snider (Robin) of Quincy and Tammy Snider of Quincy; his daughter-in-law Penny Snider of Quincy; his grandchildren, DeAnna Pales of Quincy, Kyle Snider (Ericka) of Quincy, Josh Snider of Quincy, Brooke Sieb (Adam) of St. Louis, MO and Shannon Matticks of Quincy; his stepgrandchildren, Angela Middendorf (Scott), Rendi Scholten (Jesse), Rich Riggs (Mandy), Donna Noecker (Randy), Misty and Eric Benner; his sisters, Linda Buddemeyer of Palmyra, MO and Cheri Snider (Charlie Birdsell) of Liberty, IL; and his brother-in-law Fred Ellis (Mary) of Lewisburg, TN.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; numerous step great-grandchildren.
