Ruth A. Jobe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Jobe of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Kincaid (Anderson) and Guy Kincaid; her spouse Jesse Jobe; and her siblings, Eugene, Betty, Bonnie, Mary Lou and Billy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Jobe of St. Louis, Dawn Jobe of Quincy and Jesslyn Jobe of Carbondale; her son-in-law Chris Wissmann; her siblings, Kay Detwiler, Stanley Kincaid and Robert Kincaid; her granddaughters, Sydney Goggins of Madison, WI and Abbey Thebeau of Auxvasse, MO; and her grandson-in-law Clay. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those who know Ruth's kindness might wish to provide monetary donations or non-food items like toilet paper and personal care products to their local food pantry.
