She was predeceased by: her father Melvin; and her husband John E. McCollum. She is survived by: her uncle Claude of Underbrink's Bakery; her friends, Barb Kaiser, Sally Adams, Marge Blair and Mary Stormer; her daughters, Gayle Young (Craig) of Germantown Hills, IL, Julie Holtschlag (Matt Pieper) of Quincy, IL and Kelly Frese (Greg) of Edwardsville, IL.; her grandchildren, Daniel Young (Amanda), Abigail Monahan (David), Lindsey Parson (Levi), Audrey Barry (Blake), Seth Holtschlag, Ashley Frese, Emma Frese and Drew Frese; her brother Jack M. Roth (Maggie); and her great grandchildren, Addie, John Young, Josie, James Monahan, Dominic Parson, River, Rinley Barry and Krue Holtschlag.
She was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she attended mass regularly and sat Perpetual Adoration until COVID and her health no longer allowed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ladies of Charity or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
