She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Franklin and Leitha Mae Goodwin (Davis); her son Richard Whitehead; and her brothers, Billy and Bob Goodwin.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Whitehead, Debbie Platt of La Belle, MO and Chris Mozingo Goodwin (Soyoun Mozingo) of Beaverton, OR; her grandchildren, James Whitehead (Shannon), Shawn Whitehead (Amy), Ashley Kirchner (Jared), Adam Hickman, Alex Whitehead, Joe Whitehead and Isabella Mozingo; her great grandchildren, Dillan Whitehead (Meaghan), Rylie Whitehead and Lauren Kirchner; her great great grandchild Trae Whitehead; her sister Rosa Barrigar; her daughter-in-law Cindy; and her caregiver Merry Noel.
