He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Meleney and Beverly Wass Meleney. He is survived by : his wife Sarah Nickerson; his sons, Greg Meleney of Portland, OR and Brian Meleney (Heather) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Sage Meleney (Morgan Pflantz) of Quincy, Brenden Sullivan of Genoa City, WI and Bryslin Powell of Quincy; and his siblings, Vicki Benge (Christy Shipley), Tim Meleney (Beckie Todd) and Todd Meleney (Deborah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home (1535 State St, Quincy, IL 62301).
