He was predeceased by: his children, Corrie Straus and Jermy Straus; and his stepson Jerred Shelton. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his parents, Gary Straus and Kay Straus of Quincy; his son Travis Straus (Jamie Massingill) of Quincy; his stepsons, John Shelton (Jodie) of Quincy, Jacy Shelton (Nikki) of Quincy and Jacob Shelton (Nicole Cook) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Kelsie Travis (Jack Presley), Korgan Travis Ashton Bence (Garrett Dietrich), Aisley Bence, Kaylie Straus and Landon Straus; his stepgrandchildren, Jettry Shelton, Jaslyn Shelton, Kayla Slown (Bryce), Bailey Link (Corbin), Sean Justice, Emilee Hamilton, Jesa Shelton, Jerres Shelton, Jennah Shelton and Jaxsen Shelton; and his siblings, Michael Straus of Mount Sterling, Ill., Terri White (Tom) of Grenada and Dana Glover (Danny Witthouse) of Quincy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
