He was predeceased by: his father Albert Brassfield; his wife Connie Bordewick; and his brother Doug Brassfield. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Brassfield (Lindsey); his sons, Steve Brassfield (Jennifer Lee) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Mark Brassfield (Gwen) of Quincy and Tommy Brassfield (Nicole) of Homewood, IL.; his grandchildren, Makayla Mullinix (Dustin), Isaac Brassfield, Nolan Brassfield, James Brassfield (Shayla), Madison Brassfield, Eleanor Brassfield and Benjamin Brassfield; his great grandchildren, Lyllah and Jameson; and his brothers, Richard Brassfield and Glen Brassfield (Karrie). He is also survived by HIS COMPANION: Nancy Hively Numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenmount Cemetery (1701 S 12th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
