He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer R. Alford and Ruth Eleanor Alford (Jackson); his wife Joyce Ann Jansen; his brother George Alford; his nieces and nephews, Khristina and Jason Alford; his parents-in-law, Alvin and Mary Jansen (Mock); and his stepfather Earl Higley.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan (Sally Alford), Bruce (Theresa Alford) and Scott (Anne Alford); his grandchildren, Jessica Alford, Chris Alford, Gino Alford, Dr. Owen Alford-Bichsel (Paige), Olivia Alford, Ian Alford (Marcella), Emory Alford and Reid Alford; his brother Wayne Alford (Joyce); and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jansen and Marcia Roulet (Rick). He is also survived by six step-siblings; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
