He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Friye and Glenora Friye (Heubner); his in-laws, Harold and Alvera Bardon; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Bardon and Roger Bockhaus.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bardon; his sons, Todd Friye (Dee) of Quincy, Travis Friye (Pam) of Quincy and Trevor Friye (April) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Austin Friye (Taylor), Logan Friye (Delaney), Noah Friye (Sawyer), Jonah Friye, June Friye, Kale Friye and Easton Friye; his great grandchildren, Halston Friye and Beckett Friye; his sister Carolyn Lubbe (Denny); his sister-in-law Barbara Bardon Bockhaus; and his caregiver Tom. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
