He was predeceased by: his father James M. McEwen, Jr.; his uncle Gary McEwen; his sister-in-law Julie McEwen; and his cousin Stacia McEwen. He is survived by: his mother Pearl A. Orebaugh McEwen (Charles) of Quincy; his children, Delaney McEwen of Pleasant Hill, IL, Brennan McEwen of Pleasant Hill, IL and Krista Bangert of Payson, IL; his grandson Gavin; his siblings, James McEwen of Quincy, Tony McEwen (Teri) of Quincy, Troy McEwen (Coya Hare) of Quincy and Tammy Haggerty (Thomas) of Quincy; his aunt Marlene West of Quincy; and his uncle Terry McEwen (Barb) of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
