Verna Jean Davis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 5, 2026, at the age of 89, Verna Jean Davis of Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, German Adkisson and Myrtle Hughes Adkisson; her husband Wilbert O. Davis; and her siblings, Eugene Adkisson, Granville Adkisson, Ennis Adkisson, Hester Mae Adkisson Savage, Alma "Teet" Adkisson Britt and Myrtle L. Adkisson Bolden.

She is survived by: her daughters, Chris Davis of Quincy, Pamela Davis of Quincy and Angela Havens (Owen) of Quincy; and her brother Theodore "Ted" Adkisson of Champaign, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
