He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wray and Helen Matilda Riggs Sr. (Uhlenbrock); his sons, Timothy and Randy Riggs; his stepson Mike Schorn; his grandson Timothy Scott Riggs; his stepgrandsons, Robbie Emrich and Gary Schorn; and his brothers, Robert Jr. and Carlyle Riggs.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Wild (Schorn); his children, Marty Riggs (Kelli) of Quincy, IL, Penny Swanson (Tim) of Ursa, IL, Scott Riggs (Sarah) of Quincy, IL and Michael Riggs (Becky) of Quincy, IL; his stepchildren, Dana Hidy (Ron) of Quincy, IL and Kathy Schorn of Liberty, IL; his grandchildren, Brandon Riggs, Jenna Duncan (Anthony), Misty Riutzel (David), Derek Swanson (Martia), Douglas Swanson, Jessica Cromie (John), Christopher Riggs (Sydney) and Krista Thomas (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Neal (Steve), Clinton Schorn, Steven Hidy, Matthew Schroder (Ashley) and Brook Blome (Rick); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Riggs and Ester Kelley. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
