He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hesse and Ada Mae Allensworth Hesse; his wife Teresa A. Meyer; his son Michael Hesse; his grandsons, Brad and Chad Lohman; his brothers, Larry Hesse and Eugene Hesse; and his siblings-in-law, Patti Hesse and Rick Clapper.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Cheryl Potter (Steven) of Quincy and Steven Grotz (Marsha) of Quincy; his siblings, Jerry Hesse of Quincy, Shirley Schneider of Quincy and Eileen Clapper of Branson West, MO; his sister-in-law Ginger Hesse of Quincy; and his grandchildren, Travis Grotz (Stacy), Troy Grotz, Trent Grotz (Teri Sue), Julie Lohman, Matthew Lohman and Michelle Hesse. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
