We announce the death of William H. Hultz of Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 96. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hultz and Ethel Hultz (Lindeman); his former wife Janet A. Flynn; and his siblings, Roger Hultz, Richard Hultz, Lawrence Hultz, Galen Hultz, Ruth Gibson and LaVora Hultz.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rhinberger (Ohnemus); his children, Robert Hultz of Quincy, Kenneth Hultz of Quincy, Karen King (Bob) of The Woodlands, TX, Linda Peters (Virgil) of Quincy and Sharon Hultz of Quincy; his stepdaughters, Diana Hummel of Evansville, IN and Cindy Whitaker of Portsmouth, OH.; his grandchildren, Mick Hultz, Colleen Hurley, Chris, Brad, Megan Hultz, Courtney, Cooper King, Josh, Tina, Katy and Adam Peters; his stepgranddaughters, Michelle, Melinda, Amanda Hummel, Christine and Karen Ketzler; and his brother Kyle Hultz of Helotes, TX..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home (823 Broadway St, Quincy, IL 62301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1119 S 7th St, Quincy, IL 62301).
