He is survived by: his wife Hona Griffin (Hutcheson); his children, David L. Griffin of Raleigh and Gabrielle Evans (David) of Thompsonville; his grandchildren, Brantley Tyler Evans and Emmalyn Grace Evans; and his siblings, Kenneth Neal Griffin of Eldorado, Daisy Weinstroer of Eldorado, Emily Holt of Eldorado and Beth Dann of Eldorado. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
