He is survived by: his wife Beverly Beers (Lawrence); his daughter Amanda McFarland (Shannon) of Thompsonville; his granddaughter Maddie McFarland of Thompsonville; his brothers, Gilbert Verlile Beers (Shirley) of Galatia and Harold D. Beers of Galatia; his niece Cheryl Stallings (Beers) of Galatia; and his nephews, Terry Beers (Michelle) of Harrisburg, Jerry Beers (Kristy) of Galatia and Michael Braden of Galatia.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brushy Cemetery or Tate's Chapel Cemetery and will be received at the funeral home.
