Lydia Stark Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Stark of Raleigh, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Lydia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lydia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stark and Mary Stark (Reese). She is survived by: her daughter Amy Meents (Harold) of Eldorado; her siblings, Billy D. Stark (Renee) of Eldorado and Laura Ann Schoon of Eldorado; and her grandsons, Dakota Meents (Ashlee) and Grayson Meents of Eldorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
