He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hanabarger and Ione Hanabarger (Smith); his wife Marilyn Jean Davidson; and his siblings, Murl Dean Cress and Janice Cress.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Hanabarger (Deborah) of Cape Girardeau, MO and Dale Hanabarger of Greenville, IL; his grandchildren, Dennis E. Hanabarger (Sarah), Polly Niwonger (Jeff), Jesse Hanabarger, Mathew Hanabarger, Aaron Hanabarger and Ethan Hanabarger; his great grandchildren, Seth Hanabarger (Sam), Jenna Sain (Tay), Lia Hanabarger, Dana Staggs (Matthew), Jessa Niswonger, Sarah Niswonger, Kaylee Wilkerson, Amy Wilkerson, Lewis Sain and Sadie Hanabarger; and his siblings, David Hanabarger and Barb Skalsky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Liberty Church (2660 N 275 St, Bingham, IL 62011). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Liberty Church Cemetery.
