She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Mrosko and Anabelle Mrosko (Sarver); and her brothers, Joseph John Mrosko and John Edward Mrosko. She is survived by: her husband James Berner; her children, Daniel Marston (Kari) of Ramsey, IL, Christopher Marston (Holly) of Assumption, IL, Jeremy Berner of Shelbyville, IL, James W. Berner of Ramsey, IL, Jamie Smith (Kevin Christer) of Pana, IL, Nathan Berner of Pana, IL, Jessica Berner of Shelbyville, IL and Robert Berner of Ramsey, IL; and her siblings, Janice Sexson (Hans Gawlitza), Susan Mrosko (Danny Ginger) of Pana, IL, Jim Mrosko (Jackie) of Assumption, IL and Carol Lantz (Mike) of Rochester, IL.. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials in Katherine's honor may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
