She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holbrook and Katherine Holbrook (Bergin); her husband Donald Everett Slater; and her brother Nelson Holbrook. She is survived by: her children, Pat (Gary Schroeder) of Decatur, Cheryle (Mike Meyer) of Brownstown and Dennis Slater (Michelle) of Mercer, WI; her grandchildren, Shayla (Jeff Parker) of Mahomet and Caleb Slater (MacKenzie) of St. Cloud, MN; her great grandchild Brocton Parker of Mahomet; her nephew Darrel Holbrook of Ramsey; her nieces, Stacia Holbrook of Ramsey and Kelsey (Tim Bost) of Fillmore; her great-nephews, Gannon and Brooks Bost; and her great-niece River Bost. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Fund.
