She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred J. Fruhling and Anna Lubben Fruhling; and her grandson Zachary Mingee. She is survived by: her husband Norman Uken; her children, Brenda Mingee (John) of St. Joseph, Brian Uken (Paula) of Raleigh and Bradley Uken (Christine) of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Amber Cluver (David), Kelsey Munsterman (Ryan), Lacy Uken, Brooke Rudolph (Perry), Nicholas Uken (Britta), Tyler Uken and Jill Uken; her great grandchildren, Henry, Elsa, George Cluver, Matthew, Noah, Adam Munsterman, Edward and Stockton Rudolph; and her sister Joan Cleary of Rantoul.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Diers Hall, Immanuel Lutheran Church (2498 County Rd 2100 E, Thomasboro, IL 61878). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (2498 County Rd 2100 E, Thomasboro, IL 61878).
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
