It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy E. Benison of Rantoul, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nancy E. Benison to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Durham and Helen Durham (Moorefield); and her siblings, Marilyn Howell (Bob), Larry Durham (Joyce), Richard Durham and Charlene Durham.
She is survived by: her husband John Benison; her sons, Jeremiah Benison (Melissa), Jonathon Benison (Stephanie) and Travis Benison (Michelle Underwood); her grandchildren, Syrina, Zachary, August (Roxanne), Casydie, Brady, Tristyn, Landon and Hayden Benison; and her brother Gene Durham (Jeanette).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rantoul Community Center-Food Bank.
