He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gray and Ruth Gray (Cameron); and his brothers, Leonard A. Gray and Carl David Gray. He is survived by: his wife Crystal (Cris); his children, Ruth Alpizar (Randy) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Rich of Rantoul, Illinois, Rebecca Stalter (Becky) of Rantoul, Illinois and Zechariah (Zach) of Davenport, Iowa.; his siblings, Jane Gray, Nancy Gray-Giffin of Springfield, Gloria Gray of Orlando and Roger Gray of Chicopee, Massachusetts.; and his grandchildren, Ashley Dargan, Victoria (Truman), Slocum, Robert W. Dargan, Courtney Bina, Sarah (Reid), Schlacht, Adam Harris, Rita Poremba, AJ Poremba, Shelby Stalter, Lily Stalter, Tyler Bachelor and Dawson Gray. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Lux (1551 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, IL 61866). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Lux Memorial Chapel, Glenn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carle Health Center for Philanthropy in memory of Thomas L. Gray, specifically to the Cancer Center.
