He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franzen and Nettie Sherman Franzen; and his siblings, Beverly Schnier, Emma Robertson, Kay Malsbury and John Franzen.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Bryant; his children, Brad Franzen of Savoy and Jodie Metzger (Denzel Lewis) of Carmel, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Egan Franzen and Emma Metzger.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the American Lutheran Church (500 Church Dr, Rantoul, IL 61866). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Lutheran Church, Rantoul or an organization of the donor's choice.
