She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Cowin and Opal Cowin (Townsend). She is survived by: her husband John Charles Brooks; her children, John "Curt" Curtis Brooks (Lorraine) of Rapid City, IL., Craig Eugene Brooks of Highland, NJ. and Vicki Terronez (Mathew); her brothers, Roger Cowin and Steve Cowin; and her grandchildren, Derek Brooks, Scarlet Behrens of Summer Catour, Brooks, Bre'anna Emmitt, Ashley Ibsen, Robyn Alatorre, Anthony Terronez, Gabriel Terronez and Ethan Terronez. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
