He is survived by: his children, John "Curt" Curtis Brooks (Lorraine) of Rapids City, IL, Craig Eugene Brooks of Highland, NJ and Vicki Terronez (Mathew) of Johnston, IA; and his grandchildren, Derek Brooks, Scarlet Behrens of Summer Catour, C. J, Bre'anna Emmitt, Ashley Ibsen, Robyn Alatorre, Anthony Terronez, Gabriel Terronez and Ethan Terronez. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wildwood Church (18717 Hubbard Rd, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
