He was predeceased by: his father Richard "Fig" Rowan; his wife Geraldine Witte; and his grandmother Bertha. He is survived by: his mother Janice Ferkel Rowan; his children, Ryan Rowan of Rapids City and Bree Wolf (David) of Port Byron; his grandchildren, Dylan Rowan and Abbie Wingert; and his siblings, Tom Rowan of Silvis, Todd Rowan of Colorado, Judy Krogman of Rock Island and Mary Jo Johnson of Moline.
