We bid farewell to Doris Cook of Raritan, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Anders and Helen Karloske Anders; her husband James Henry Cook; her brother Robert Anders; and her grandson Calvin Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Frost (Terry) of Omaha, NB, David Cook of Galesburg, IL, Philip Cook of Paxton, IL and Paul Cook (Chris) of Stronghurst; her sister Jean Melvin of Aledo, IL; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Anders of Zionsville, IN.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Doris's memory be given to the Raritan Reformed Church or the Stronghurst-Raritan Ambulance Service.
