He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Clair Hitchings (Garard) and Howard Hitchings; his wives, Mardelle Hitchings and Patricia Hitchings; his daughter Donna Pollard; his siblings, Lester Hitchings, Luella Wolfe, Dorothy Fraley, Margaret Hitchings and Mary Kathryn Jaeger; his grandson Jordan Storm; and his great grandchild Summer Stephenson.
He is survived by: his sons, David Hitchings (Nadine) of Raymond, Daniel Hitchings (Kara) of Farmersville, Douglas Hitchings of Litchfield and Jimmie Hitchings (Marla) of Waggoner; his son-in-law Ben Pollard of Litchfield; his daughters, Deborah Schmidt (Dean) of Homosassa Springs, FL and Dottye Brockmeyer (Jim) of Raymond; his siblings, James Hitchings (Mary Ann) of Raymond, John Hitchings (Mary Sue) of Bloomington, Virginia Holliday of Jacksonville and Norma Van Valkenburg of Springfield; and his grandchildren, Dana Wise (Christopher), Krystal Pollard (Ben), Bret Hitchings (Allison), Sarah Hitchings (Andrea), Susan Gradman (Dave), Megan Covi (John), Whitney Mendoza (Eddie), Travis Stephenson (Felicia), Troy Stephenson (Cinthya), Samantha Brown, Clinton Brockmeyer, Hannah Chiodi (Dominic), Tyler Hitchings, Jarod Hitchings (Tiffany), Bryant Hitchings (Samantha) and Nathan Hitchings (Megan).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Raymond-Harvel Ambulance Helipad Project.
