He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Slightom and Veda Slightom (Wilson); and his sisters, Janice White and Julie Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellington of Raymond; his children, James "Jim" Slightom (Melinda) of Raymond, Joel Slightom (Stefanie) of Waggoner, Theresa Monson (Kirk) of Auburn, Cathy Vicari (Jeremy) of Palmyra, Danny Hough (Brenda Tyree) of Hillsboro and David Hough (Karen) of Hillsboro; his siblings, David Slightom (Gloria) of Joliet, Dennis Slightom of Virden and Jo Ellen Moore (Rusty) of Virden; and his close friend Buddy. He is also survived by several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren.
