We bid farewell to Earl W. Nagel of Red Bud, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 3, 2025 at the age of 102. Earl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Violet Nagel; his son James Nagel; his grandson Eric Allen Nagel; his siblings, Lorraine Junge (Paul) and Robert Nagel (Fern); his siblings-in-law, William and JoAnn Kunkel; and his parents, Albert Schriber and Nelda Schriber.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Nagel (Giovanna), Connie Esker (Bob), Cathy Griffin (Gary) and Vickie Nagel. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
