He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter E. Wachtel and Rosemond "Rose" Wachtel; and his sisters, Edna Haudrich (Elmer), Mildred Eagles (Tom), Irma Newton (Richard) and Alsace Muskopf (George).
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Wachtel; his children, Cinda Liefer and Jeff Wachtel (Amy Frazer); his grandchildren, Timothy Liefer (Randa) and Addison Wachtel (Kathryn Dickneite); and his great grandchildren, Marley Rowdy and Kobe Wachtel. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
