Mary S. Hudson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary S. Hudson of Red Bud, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Harris, Toni Sue Cronin (John), John Brittingham (Melissa), Mary Weiser and Hudson; her grandchildren, Brooke, Joe Vandeventer, Brendan Cronin, Tommy, Tanner Harris, Robert (Ashley), Jacob Brittingham, Kayla, Derek, Caitlynn, Sara Beth Weiser, Brianna and Keegan Hudson; her great grandchildren, Russel, Elizabeth, Isabella Brittingham Finley and Huxley Vanderventer; her brothers, Claud J. Watters (Ann) and Albert Watters (Theresa); and her sister-in-law Sue Watters (Bonnie Watters).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Quernheim Funeral Home (800 S Market St, Waterloo, IL 62298). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family prefers memorial contributions to: Monroe County Humane Society.
